The Gonzales Theatre Arts department supports both the High School and Junior High Theatre Arts Departments.

Mrs. Leslie Buesing has been the theatre arts director for Gonzales Independent School District for eleven years.  Before that she was a professional film actress playing Renee Zellweger’s roommate in a movie called The Whole Wide World.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.
