It’s the beginning of a new year!  Welcome students!  This week we will be getting to know each other and practicing classroom routines.  Students will begin vocabulary cards using AP word lists and grammar work.  We will also be taking the Gates/MacGinitie test this week to determine reading and comprehension levels. 

Now we’re rolling!  Students will begin a “writing boot camp” in order to learn correct style and format for high school and college technical writing.  Make sure you have read “The Necklace.” by Tuesday.
